how do i take out an aftermarket headunit? do i have to take off the whole dash or what?

1) Remove the trim piece around the shifter
2) Unscrew the 2 screws it reveals on the panel that covers the AC etc 3) Using a screwdriver or something similar, pry all the edges of that trim piece (that you just removed the screws from) off before you try and remove it completely 4) You might want to disconnect the clock; or you can just slide the trim unit around (it'll have wires from the clock and blinkers still on it) 5) Under all the screws around the HU Thats it. |
