ok does anybody get this problem where the garage door goes down but it goes right back up when it reaches the bottom ?
well mine has that problem and i dont know how to fix it beside when it hits the bottom i hit the button again to make it close thats the only way i know how to fix it

anybody has another suggestion ?
and no i dont wanna buy a new garage door opener

There might be something obstructing the sensor? That could be a reason why it keeps going back up?

Mines been doing the same for 10 years.. also mine always falls off track. There should be a rope hangin down, when the hindged peace that cunnects the door to the motorized chain. you should be able to pull that rope, and pop the pin, witch then alows you to manualy close the door.. Close the door, then whil you have some wight on it, hit the button, and then it should close all the way, and lock. It works for mine. hope this helps.
but the reason its doing that, is the spring sensor, so if somthing is there.. you can move it, or it wont get to damaged. but most garages get scrwed up like that.

On some garage doors there are two sensors : one for detecting when to stop when the door is completely open. And another to tell it when to stop when the door is completely closed check the track to see if you have these and see if the one closest to the door opening in the garage is broken or if it has moved.
