Meet in Vegas, Summer 05 Options

Ok i just wanted to start a seperate thread from the gumball one so that they could figure that out

im down for a meet to vegas since it is the CITY OF SIN! and where else would be a better place for some hot ass cars to meet up at??

so lets get a post of whos interested - I know you so-cal boys better be up for it!
and who knows maybe after we get this up and going we can maybe make it the "local" meet for those that plan to continue their travels to davenport

I live in AZ, and the desert aint going to be cool enought to make a long distance drive to LV. You don't want to break down in it, it can kill you. I would suggest move the meet to oct or april. Lv is 115 degrees during summer! So before summer or after summer would be wiser.

Bah..... Nothing wrong with the desert as long as you have A/C.... Just make sure your car is in good mechanical condition.... just like before any road trip..... but april would be good too

He does bring up a good point - the supras and i went down in september about 80-90 degress and luckily only one car over heated. Hmmm thanks for the .02 cents there buddy! I think before would be better cuz supras have their huge meet in september. Maybe april or may then!

I know when we get about 25 cars here parked at the mall we get in trouble for having a big group!

were looking into ways to get the most cars possible. obviously guys from WA wont wanna drive down south again for another meet since they do go down south in september for supras invade las vegas!

just to inform all of you again vegas is hot as hell! if you can plan your trip so that you hit nevada at night time, you will make it. my car almost overheated all 3 times. i had to roll down the windows in 120 degree weather and turn on the heater full blast she started to run a lil better, but be careful. last thing you want is to breakdown in a 120 degree desert.

i went ot vegas with 15 supras doing 120-130 the whole way and one car overheated and thats cuz he had a previous problem and he was racing around like a nut

Wow, I live in the desert, and during the night at summer its over 100. Im talking about 3 in the morning. The lv/az desert is not the safest place to break down in. Alot of meth users preying on people.
Ill do the trip as long as I got a couple of people 2 ride with me. Won't do the trip during dead summer though, too rough on the car. I know theres a couple of celicas in Phoenix. I think sexyasiandoll is from here.

we are looking into sponsors and getting some coverage on it too!


hence why we may be thinking to do so-cal! may be a better chance of some coverage and sponsors there

Anyway, if getting rooms is an issue, dont worry about it guys i can hook us up a various hotels in the area. But i am looking to drive down for SEMA this year and would like to set something up for locals to come hang out :-) including Cali and Nevada and whoever i can get from WA/OR


so whatever that date is for SEMA then id hope to make something happen around that day!

The bathroom was bigger than my room here in Seattle, California King size bed, sleeper couch and love seat. I would stay there again in a second!... if it wasnt so pricey.

As for a date i vote on June or after due 2 the fact that some of the members might be in school. Although i know a lot of people were complaining about the heat. just my $.02

Then the hotels you picked out, the Luxor is NICE and not too expensive. But if i had to pick i guess i would stay at the MGM.

I was hoping that everyone was going in late May, early June. From what I hear it'll be very crowded(which won't bother me much) and many of the hotel prices will be much higher than normal since SEMA is in town. Just a thought, maybe I'm wrong. Plus in November everyone is back in school.

I will be down there though the 3-6th :-) so if anyone wants to hang before that. But i need some people from Vegas -hint hint racergirl- to help me out with a place that we can meet up at. :-)


SEMA is Nov 1-4th so make sure u come out a couple days before or a day before to check that out! :-)
