They have never said, and in episodes where they have to point out where it is they just say "its over there" and not point to anything, so i think its just made up town/city

they are from SPRINGFIELD USA.... i not sure but i think every state has a springfield and thats why the chose that name for the town the live in...

on the 132nd episode spectacular they said Springfield KY but i dont know if they were serious or not because the show was like an E! behind the music episode

who knows, dont have any idea what there name is (unless your read though the credits to find out) or what they look like and its hard to compare voices unless there already an established (big time) actor. anyway, back on topic...... -------------------- |

Nice link, I was wondering if anyone compiled a list of where Springfield isn't. Could be Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands.
The lady who voices for Lisa is an actress (and incredibly annoying -- except as Lisa). Plus well known actors have been in the Simpsons... "It's hell being Mel." --------------------  |
