does anyone know the statue of limitations on retail theft in WI? as far as how long they can go before they cant press charges?

no, im talking time limits, like for rape, you only have so many months to press charges against the offender....im wondering if there's anything like that for retail theft.

Try findlaw.com, I'm not sure if they will have the specific statutes of limitations for your particular issue, but they have a lot of information.

its nothing big, i just took some lottery tickets from the gas station i worked at, and they got pissy and fired me. i paid them back, but they were talking about pressing charges, so im just wondering if they can do it anytime, or if they have to do it within a certain time frame...and yes, i know dumb choice, im over it. i like my new job much better.
