Cause i need front & back.

90 per set that is 90 for the fronts and then another 90 for the back.

I just emailed them about the rust free coating along with the possibility if getting the option of CD, slotted< or both. Brian at drift speed is the man I'm dealing with if ne of you were to call or email them. I should have the answers in the morning or so. Thanks for all the quick replys.

Sorry to hear aboput that pressure and K2. Maybe next time smile.gif .

Plating is away of rust proofing. I think they use zink but I'm not sure. You can paint them with any kind of rustolium (sp?) paint. The paint will rub off where the pad meets the surface of the rotor but that is a given. 2 more and we can place the order. Please state how you would like your rotors set up and what you need (ex. fronts and backs slotted fronts and cross drilled backs)

I'm pretty interested but I got some questions I figure you as an expert can answer;) :

- I just replaced my front rotors with stocks, but my backs are starting to go. Is it going to be wierd with slotted/drilled rotors just in the back?
- Is the price with shipping or without (was a little confused with all the response posts).
- How much is the paint going to cost me would you say.
- Any real advantages between drilled and slotted?

Zoom-
i think its up to you if it looks wierd or not. If it were me I would get both neway.

shipping is not included.

$2.95.....I don't know! Go to Home Depot and look.

From what I have learned both help with the cooling of your brakes. I perfer slotted B/C they tend to be forged into the rotor as the cross drills are drilled into the rotor after the fact (this may have an effect to the strenth of the rotor)

In?

Hmmm.....

Save for rims and tires OR cross drilled rotors???

I keep seeing an auction on ebay for a set of front and rear slotted/drilled rotors for $180+shipping, which is the exact same i would have to pay on here, so take me as a no. Not really a GB price if i can get them for the same price you all are payin.

Need proof...

i can answer that....no

you do not have disk brakes in the back... you have drums. rotors are the things that the brake pads press against to slow the car down..

There is a guy over at celica.net parting out his 6th gen gt. Name is mike moris, look in the buying and selling forum and shoot him an email (he responds quickly) about his brakes.

I will up date the list and add you for just the fronts so if you decide to get the backs you need to PM me. BTW what do you want? Slotted, Cross drilled or both?

I've been out of the loop, been working on the car and stuff. Where does the group buy stand and has anyone sent they're money in. If its ready to go then when and how is the loot exchanging hands. Paypal is my method of choice. Oh and I'm in for cross drilled and slotted for the front only.

coustoe, boibleu22 , Jussimple. I need all 3 of you to decide on what you want. coustoe, I know you want fronts maybe backs i'll check with you at the last second for your final decision. What I need is you guys to tell me what sets you want ( fronts, Backs) ( Slotted, CD, Both) as soon as I get your info I will email the company and get the final tally.

Front/rear, CD/slotted and check if they'll coat them. I'm doing the rear conversion and these will be the bread and butter. Let me know.

Yes. We should have enought sets to do this. I PM'ed 94celicaguy today about what he wants. I'll give him a day or so and then get this thing off the ground. If any of you know him or see him anywhere please tell him to check this post for the updates. I'll give him till saturday night to get back to me and them I will send the email out with the total # of orders I have. Cool? I am trying to be as fair as possible here and don't want to hurt anybodys feelings if they get left out.

Go figure, I don't check this site for a while and i start missing out on stuff. Oh well. I saw that you mentioned Sat as the last day but no-one's posted since Thurs so I was wondering if my opportunity on this has passed.

If I can still get in then i'd def be in for front cd/slotted. If not then don't worry about it.

Ya, I emailed him again and gave him my "AKA". I forgot that my email stamps my real name, but I change that. Damned if microsoft express doesn't hide that option under tons of sub menus. rolleyes.gif

Hey 1bwilson, I am definitely interested in those rotors. You can put me on the "maybe" list, because I have two questions: Are they zinc or something coated for protection? and just to make sure, these wiull fit on 96 GT Conv.? Once I know the answers I can give you a yes or no for sure. Thank you very much!

I just realized that it has already been a month since you've had this GB. I needed them coated anyways, so I guess its a no go for me. Thanks anyways. frown.gif
