hey guys

So a buddy of mine lives in Switerland and he said he saw a gt-4 in germany and all the cars in germany are left hand drive just like ours. So they did make a LHD Gt-4 but they didnt bring it to the US. I wonder if its possible to import such a car from germany.

Yeah, most of us have seen quite a few LHD GT-Fours before. wink.gif

It would be very cool to be able to import one from Germany. smile.gif

no cause of exhaust and such, but you could bring it to the US and call it just a GT since its LHD and redo the exhaust to US standards and you'd be all gravey

Whats more fun bout being on the wrong side of the car?
Personally i'd opt for a lhd one since I know how to shift with the right hand.

LHD is better in my opinion for the US casue its much easier to pass on widing single lane roads with out killing yourself. Anyone seen a LHD GT-4 here in the US? Hey Blinkymunky I'm in Daytona Beach FL. Plus we are having a celica/hotimport nights meet in Miami. Just three of us

Just cuz the steering wheel is on the otherside, doesnt make it cool. Same with jdm. As for that alltrac....um, ok it has a wheel on the otherside and is still almost the same as a US alltrac.

Werd, I'd be hella comfy with a LHD GT-4, no thank you to police attention. I've seen two skylines R32's driving around & funny thing...they both (I think it was the same skyline twice) got pulled over, I can bet you the reason the cops pulled them over was not cause its a skyline but cause of the RHD, so they figured something has to be wrong.

Why does everybody keep asking what makes a RHD so "cool" or "special"....?? I didnt think it was that hard to understand....

The only RHD cars we have here in the U.S. are mail trucks and Jeeps that are converted for mail delivery. Oh, and some of those driving schools with the cars that have two steering wheels and two sets of brakes/gas. Thats kinda like RHD. rolleyes.gif

Anyway, the reason people think its cool is because its very rare in our country to see a right-side driven sports car, thats why. And please....to all of you who say its not cool, I'd like to see you witness a RHD Celica GT-4 or Supra or EVO comming down the street and try to tell me that its not awesome... wink.gif

You dead right there biggrin.gif i drive a RHD over here in moscow and get pulled cause it's a RHD, but i also get pulled cause the road police don't know what car i'm driving "white GT-4" biggrin.gif

there are so damn cool, RHD is how they where designes for the jap home market !!!!

what is the issue about noise thou ! mine is like a whisper when driving at regular speeds on the road, even with a stainless rear box ! she only throbs in your ears over 5k but then the fun starts biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

i hope you guys can get some GT-4 over there, and start having some fun !!!!

QUOTE
driving schools with the cars that have two steering wheels

Thats more of a AHD kinda thing (all hand drive) biggrin.gif

I think that with a good tint and a passenger (blow-up dall maybe) no one would know the diff, but I would rather take the RHD in the sence that there so rare here, and that would be so sweet, although it would make it a bigger target for theft, and there would be no tricking people into thinking your car is no big deal on race day.

actualy, I dont care if it even has a stering wheel, I'll take a gt-4 any day of the week.
