Well i'm redoing this post because I think I was over critical in the previous one.
PMR on MTV did a 240SX this past weekend. I just watched the rerun of it. From its previous state to now, it looks hella-better. I'm NOT fond of the contrast colors. Either all orange or all green. But not both. The Mirrors and Wing in contrast hurt, but otherwise, the car looks alot better. Ironic story here... I went searching for pictures of this car on the net via Google. I came across 2 or 3 nissans forums talking about the upcoming show. After a few reads, I stumbled onto www.nicoclub.com. And behold, what did I find except the owner of this 240. His screen name is BrokeAs240SX, which now might need a change. The kid is very nice and humble for recieving such a gift along with fame time on TV. I'm gonna tell him about the site and maybe he'll stop by for a one-off post or two. Heres some pics. As I said, PMR could have over riced this car really bad, but I dont think they did that. His interior and trunk are mint along with the actual nice outside green color. Even though I think he likes orange. smile.gif

after talking to him I found out

His interior was "too nice" for pimp my ride. So he had to trash it out. Take out a seat. Throw sh.t in the back. Etc Etc Etc.

His interior was pimp before. He told me he wasn't happy about this. He did a full tan to black conversion on the inside. Then they painted it silver. [hits head with hand].

Weak i know.

With all that money, they could've at least done a manual tranny swap.

Or better yet, can anyone say SR20DET?

I think the reason he's smiling is cause he's going to most likely take it apart & put it back to how it was & then sell the mtv shyt for some real mods.

You think they gave him all the stuff they took off?? cause that would be kinda f-ed up if they got rid of it.

Thats also so sad, i cant get over it, I would never let them touch my car let alone pay them. This show is the worst advertisement for there company ever.

From what he told me he doesn't get any of the parts back. He asked and asked as was able to keep his hood, but his old kit, viper alarm, sony deck, MOMO seats as seen in the before pics, etc etc etc is now MTV's. And to answer the eBay question, he had to sign a contract saying he cannot sell the car.

I find it so funny that MTV makes you trash your car. As seen in the pics above. He has 4 rims, not 2 and 2 steelies as the show had. He has 2 seats, not one with a bunch of stuff thrown' everywhere as the show had. He has alot of performance parts under the hood. Ironic how he didn't have those until the show was over. Hummmm. And i'm sure he can sell it down the road, but I bet its for quite some time.
