It's almost 2005. Know what that means? We need new photos to be randomly displayed on the non-forum section of the site.

So post up your pictures...whatever you think would look good there. The higher-resolution, the better. Feel free to display the images directly on this thread, or link to them. I want to see some great quality pictures...interesting angles or unique elements on your car or a sweet background or something else that's cool.

Cool...as long as pics are in by the 28th or 29th or so, that'll be cool. If something really good shows up the 31st or something and I have time, I'll probably put that in too. And even after the new year, I can always add more. It's not set in stone like the calendar.

I need as many as possible. Right now I have five usable photos. There's no set amount though.

I'll choose based on which images fit my new format well and have the correct lighting and look great and don't clutter it up. Unfortunately, the new format is wide and short, so it's very, very hard to find pics that look good in it. To be honest, only one of the above photos really fits well. Well, two would, but the second photo that would be used is of a member's car who already has another image that fits better.

I've even browsed over half of the featured rides and all of the members with high-resolution photos, and I still have only found a total of five suitable photos.

you have to upload load them on to a host or something. www.photobucket.com is a good one. then you get the pic URL and post it on here.

So far, Tufy, TTE, Romas, and maikl. And then there's a shot of two Japanese Celicas if I can get permission to use it. It's not that I don't like your guys' cars or anything, but it's very tough to find suitable pictures for the format I'm using. The photos have to blend well with the rest of the page, be scenic and quality and color-corrected and bright, they have to fit the area well without looking weird, they have to allow for the light-gray/white text to be clearly read(without moving the text), the photos have to be artistic and interesting and inspiring, etc.

I can't even find a single photo of my car that's suitable, and I have over 2,400 photos of my car alone on my computers.

It's pretty good on the beachbecause there's a part where the concrete reaches to the pebbles so it's easy to just drive on to it. (albeit with several people staring over from their cars. hehe)

Yes, Lucky. I'm sure you don't like having your posts previewed, but like I've said before that's something you have to think about before you break the rules. Let's list what you've done.

1. Threats were made against other members
2. You publicly bashed 6GC on your own site
3. You posted inappropriate images
4. You asked for illegal pirated movies and software on multiple occasions, even after reading my posts that it could get the site shut down.
5. You lied to many people about stuff.
6. You, on several occasions, responded to posts with language and comments and personal attacks unsuitable for this site.

So yes, I'd say that you're lucky that we still let you post here. I think we deleted something like 47 different posts from you. I have the exact numbers(and posts) on a SQL backup CD made before the forum upgrade.

Naw, not that huge. Minimum resolution requirements for the calendar were about 200 pixels below that
