Yeah, my best friend, older brother type figure, got a real car. And by real car, i mean a 30,000 mile rebuilt engine, twin turbo, all-wheel drive and sterring, dodge stealth R/T.

It's a beast, with at least 30,000 grand spent on it (after the purchase), it's making 585 horse's. The story is, a guy in cali. was real wealthy, and knew how to build cars. So he built this one, and left it in his will to a guy in my city here. Well, the guy that built the car got in a bad bike wreck which killed him. So, the car showed up here, and the guy sold it for not 10 grand, not 8 grand, but 6 grand.

I know Super. I know. it was a joke.

same to you Seth. Did he replace the mitsu turbos? I'll assume so since it's impossible to hit that high with the stock turbos.

I hope he knows about 3si.org - If he doesn't you should tell him.

PS, I did the dodge stealth/3000GT international calendar as well

i'll try to get picks soon. of course the turbo's are aftermarket, and also upgraded, haha. This guy spent a lot of money on the car. The only confusing thing is he kept the same air supply, which i'll be changing soon (like the airbox to the twin turbo's)

Not exactly. A VR4 is not a 3000GT or a stealth. Gotta stick up for Shid when he's right.

www.3si.org is all he will need, scratch that, www.stealth316.com is what he will need. Jeff Lucius has done an unbelievable job with his Stealth and helped me with some probs I had with mine.

a 3000gt vr4 is still a 3000gt. its not like the body/unibody are completely different

stealths are ugly by comparison to a 3000gt

My bad. I never knew they made turbo AWD stealths....I guess Shid was wrong.

jesus it was a joke on what 3000GT owners think of Stealth owners lay off.

For those of you who are too dense to get it, here's the breakdown.

The Dodge Stealth R/T TT is a rebadged 3000GT VR4 is a rebadged JDM GTO. However, in the 3000GT and Stealth community, they're very very VERY anal about their cars, and anyone who tries to do a GTO conversion (or a Stealth to 3000GT conversion) is instantly pounced apon and beaten to a bloody pulp. The joke is, they're the same bloody car but these guys get so stuck up and anal about it..

DO YOU GET IT NOW? DO ANY OF YOU UNDERSTAND? I'LL EAT YOU. I SWEAR TO GOD YOU WILL BE DIGESTED.

5 posts in i said it was a joke, but you still didn't get it. Do we need an official 6gc poking stick or something?

Actually I think the stealth is hideous, I much prefer a good 3000GT with the early model headlights (as opposed to the weird eye headlights they had later years)

I know, I posted a thread here a while back about a thread on 3si.org that just went totally AWOL, was about people doing GTO conversions. 44 page flame war.

Batman's been posting for a really long time.. Whats he gonna say? *reloads page constantly*

While we're waiting, I think I'm the first person on 6gc.net to threaten to digest other members.

IMO any of the 3KGT's are ugly except for the 3rd Gens - all Stealth's are pretty hideous. With that said - they're fast. My friend had a 93 VR4 and could launch the thing pretty hard and it wouldnt squeal or nothing - took off like a rocket. All-wheel steer is a lil iffy and personally I wouldnt touch a Mitsu but to each his own.

^lol

i actually agree with some of the people here that the Stealths are nowhere near as appealing as the 3000GT

I sure do have respect for it's speed, as it is a DSM(right?)
but the 3K is so much...just nicer.
I'd personally take a lil punch out of my speed to support my looks.

Anyways, get pics of this car!

Not neck snapping

The 3S's are not DSM's. DSM's were made in Normal, IL and include

Mitsubishi Eclipse
Eagle Talon
Plymouth Laser
Dodge Avenger
Chrysler Sebring Coupe

Close cousins include: Mitsubishi Galant VR4 and the 3000GT/Stealths made in Japan

i thought they were considered DSM's since they too were made under the collaboration between Chrysler/Dodge and Mitsu... hence the Diamond (mitsu) Star (Chrysler) Motors name

Nope, they aren't DSMs, because they were produced in Mitsu's own plants, not In IL.. just like TI just said smile.gif

No, the 3S's are not DSM's. All DSM's were made in the DSM plant in Normal, Ill. All 3S's were assembeled in Mitsubishi 's Nagoya, Japan plant.
