bad piston rings.....i just got off the phone with a bud that works at the shop i took it to. they don't specialize in that so he's gonna give me numbers on where to take it to.
my question is.........how much am i looking to pay to get this replaced?? and how long is it gonna take??

Do It yourself.. not that hard.. Time consuming but should be able to do, and save bunches of money, Id also upgrade everything if u have the money concidering ur boosting.

put some GZE pistons in, and 2mm head gasket, and you will be at 10 psi daily

ill need a new head gasket... valve cover seals... intake/exhaust manfold gaskets... rings... and money to buy my pistons if you want them... and which pistons do you want the hks or oem?

can u just get all the parts for me and ill pay you for everything plus a lil extra?
i dont want to get the wrong parts and/or end up missing something. whats the difference between the oem and hks?? ill take whichever is better i guess.....

hks is better and i paid 250 for them ill give em to you for the same...
and as far as all the parts go i dont that the cash to front that you'll either have to come here and order it all or have me walk you though it on the phone while your at the parts store... -DMC |
