Hey my car got hit a month ago and does any body know if I can still get a rental if I dont put my car in the shop?

I think your insurance will only pay for a rental car if getting it fixed @ the place they(or you) choose to have it fixed at.
But..... I think the only way to get the most accurate answer would be to call them
