Okay, here's a question for those of you who have removed the stock side skirts. How do you get the little black plugs out underneath?
I got the screws on the ends of the skirt and I assume the white plastic trim screws just pull out but I can't figure out the black plugs underneath. I tried prying them - maybe I'm just not trying hard enough. There are 2 slots that look like you pry into but that didn't seem to work either. Any help would be appreciated. Also, does anyone know where to get those white trim screws that fasten the skirt to the side of the car? Thanks guys!

If its the black plugs I think you mean, there is a little black circle in the middle, just push it in and pull out the plug.

Yes, there is a black circle in the middle but I tried pushing it in. By the way, they're not the same black push-in plugs that are used on the door panels.

Dude, why are you removing them? If you got a Kit, I'll SO buy them off of you at a good price!

I'm not getting rid of them - I actually like the look of the stock skirts. I just want to take them off so I can replace a missing trim screw that holds the skirt to the car. One of the white trim screws either fell out or is missing and the skirt is not sitting flush with the car. Does anyone know where I can find those white trim screws, other than a junkyard?

Have you gone and asked toyota about them? Bcus they should run about $1.20 or $150 ea? They should def. have those parts...they might have to order them if they aren't in stock. Should only take up to 3-4 days to recieve??

igotta5S-FEturbo, I just have a quick question for you or those with skirts also.
I wanted to know if you can visibly see that weather strip that's between the skirt and sheet metal where it's flush against?
Just wondering bcus I'm having mine installed today and he showed me how it'll be visible about 1/4"?? Thanx smile.gif
