i took out my seat and found that plugged in to the bottom of it, does this mean i have heated seats?

Nope, that is just for the seat belt bulb on the gauge cluster. It might have been an option but if you don't have a button for turning on/off the heater for the seats then your seats are not heated. sorry it would be nice in this cold weather smile.gif

I wondered that too when I pulled my seats out because it is also on the passenger side. cant remember what I figured it out to be though

but if you wanted heated seats you can buy the coil for it.

I love heated seats but only with leather, I miss them from my bimmer, an women loved themm wink.gif

my friend had em in his golf 1.8t they were so nice but then he sold it. why can't you just go get a heating pad and an inverter and bam you gots heated seats. just put a seat cover over it haha.

yea thats for ur seat belt and i think it might also be a sensor forthe airbag system for the passanger side ....

as for the heated seat .. does anyone else with leather seats .. have their seat and back rest warm up when they turn the nob on the CC all theway to red ?

wait! that was my passenger side seat, the passenger side doesn't have a seatbelt sensor, only the driver's side does..

okay.. i dunno has anyone else ever taken out their seats? on the bottom of my seat there's like, a coil, it looks like a spring for the seat, but my bf thought it was for heated seats.. i dunno, i'm confused tongue.gif

i've take out my seats at the track n stuff the pass has the plug on the bottom and i never reconnected it n nothing has gona wrong with it.

The coil on the bottom is just so you dont fall through, it holds you and the padding up.
