Signatures, Option to show them only once per page Options

I didn't see an option to only show the signatures once per page/thread. Is there something I'm missing? I could have sworn that the old board software did something like that. I think it was only shown once per page. Is that something that can easily be added to the site? Thanks.

There was never an option - it was how Coomer programmed the board.

I wonder how hard it would be to add an option like that to the control panel. I think it makes it hard to read threads when you have to scroll through someones half page signature time and time again. I couldn't imagine it being that difficult to do.

I just liked it because the pages loaded faster

There was a modification for it with the old version of the software, and there's supposedly another one for the new version, but last I checked it got a five-star rating and a one-star rating from two different people, and the script has it's own installer so I was waiting to see if more people would use it and review it before I installed it.

But I do plan to get to do this soon. It won't be an option though, it'll be a full-time modification.

And speaking of load times, your avatar isn't allowed and you should change it WannabeGT4.

it's only 64k. plus it's on my own server so it's not using your bandwidth but I guess I'll change it if it's causing problems.

No-one wants to wait for a 64k avatar to load when they're on dial-up and they want to get some Celica info. That's why animated signatures and avatars aren't allowed, so yes, I'd appreciate it if you changed it.

bringing up an old topic, but i think showing the sigs only once per page is kinda lame. there is an option in the board settings of your control panels to turn avitars and signatures off...if you don't want them to load, go change those preferences...that would save the trouble, and people who like them, get them, and people who don't, don't have to. that would make MORE people happy, than just catering to 1 opinion.
