Suggestion for a sticky Options

I myself just got done purchasing my speakers but already someone else has asked what size speakers fit in our cars so I am suggesting a sticky. Mainly this would explain what types of speaker setups came stock so we hopefully don't have to keep asking about the differences between the 4, 6, and 8 speaker setups. The other biggy would be to answer not only what size speakers came stock in each setup but what size speakers we commonly replace them with.

I myself had to do a bit of digging to awhile back to pull up a thread about the rear speaker size and also the 4 inch speakers in the premium doors so I figure why not save someone else thje trouble down the road?

if there is I can't see it because this is the audio section of the board and there are two stickies one for alrms and the other is wiring diagrams plus why would other people keep requesting the info?

there have been many topics about this, but if your going to get speakers, check to see what will fit because there are many different sizes. i dont think anyones come up with a list of exactly the size speaker and or brackets (or however many speakers, or if you have a factory amp, etc.) you will have depending on your car. too many different options offered for the celi throughout the years.

I already got speakers but the idea is to make the sticky for those who need the info int he future.
so far I know that the rear in hatchbacks were 6.75 but 6.5 is supposed to fit rather well. that the front has 6.5's or.75's (unsure) and some people go up to 8 inch without issues. The 8 speaker setup had an extra set of 4 inch speakers in the doors plus the tweeters (dunno what the area they are put in are called). Unsure about the 6 speaker setup though and as far as amps I know the 8 speaker ran two amps with one being under one of the seat.s

Point being it makes sense to do a sticky so we have a quick way to check without waiting for an answer. Or being told to use the search feature all the time
