I am planning on replacing my atenna with a S2000 atenna. The problem is my atenna does not go up anymore. I just installed my new CD deck about 1 week ago and thats when it doesn't work anymore. My atenna doesn't go completely down, it is down and is at the last section of the atenna at this moment.

So is it still ok to cut it off or do I have to completely raise the atenna?

Just disconnect the wires, and pull the atenna up by hand. Your going to have to disconnect the wires anyway to put the s2000 antenna on.

take the interior panels off, disconnect the wires, unscrew it, and disconnect the fm connector.
