I have the SP2 for the 6th Gen Celicas as well.

Why is it everytime someone calls up greddy, greddy says they don't make an SP2? Exhaust tips don't make the exhaust?

I seriously doubt its from another car or a welded tip. why would ModdedST bother? hes been saying for a while he had it but never cared enough to post pictures

the only other possibility is that by mistake they ordered an exhaust that has an identical exhaust path as our cars. I defer to Occam's razor on that one .. the simplest answer is usually the right one

I've got an idea to settle this. Since Shid has email greddy before, Why don't you email them again. This time include the page of the site that sells teh SP2 for our car and ask whats going on with this. THis would be the best way to find out.

not sure if you guys are interested to know this, i just talked to the sales personnel from www.evasivemotorsports.com and he told me that Greddy does have the SP2 exhaust system for the 6gc. this is part of our conversation:

this is the 2nd site from what i know that sells the Greddy SP2 exhaust system. so i'm starting to believe that Greddy did produce the SP2 for our 6gc. i just got my BLITZ pressure guage and temperature gauge from them.. so i think they can be trusted and know what they are doing? yea.. please consider bout the group buy too? 442 is a pretty good price. if we get more people, probably shipping would be cheaper too.

ok look at moddedst's pics and youl see thats not an SP2. thats a 1 the tips arnt the same and look at the muffler canister they are the SP1.

and greddy still doesnt have it listed that they make it for the celica and i doubt they ever will cause we have no market value.

face it guys you will rarely see performace parts from any big name companies unless its for the 3s and you mod it to fit.


EDIT: Shin i doubt you can even get 10 people to buy that exhaust cause everyone is broke on this site or already has exhaust.

I dont know about this but i have a Greddy on my car...looks like the one on the HOW TO site...linked above... that's the only on i found so far... for our cars... seems quite hard for the installation in the pic.. when my GT just bolts right up...i dont know about the ST so..yeah... you can see it from my profile pix...it came in ulgy brown but i sprayed it with aircraft remover and made it chrome..looks nice and clean..

Guys I hate to pipe in on this, but think of this from a business standpoint, not a car apreciation standpoint. Greddy is a business, and hence will not make something that will not make them money. Greddy would NOT discontinue an exhaust for low sales numbers, and then make another new exhaust system.
