i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

As for the pin strip yes, you can do that your self. I did mine, looks a LOT better. I used a blow dryer to heat it up then pell off, just be warned it does take a while if its anything like mine. and its a lot of fingernail scraping, but well worth it.

question...you guys think i should throw a bit of carbon fiber on it? or leave it white. not talking about hood or hatch, but like rear spoiler extensions.

Looks great!! How much did it cost to paint the sides and extensions??

I think that if you go with the dual tone color of white and carbon fiber, a hood would be the best as well as riser blocks.

Nice looking kit, I like it alot. Do have to agree remove the pinstripe.
The bst way to remove the pinstripe is to heat it up with a hairdryer, this loosens the glue and reduces the potential to damage the paintwork, no need to use cards etc, as it will just peel off.
Raiser blocks would finish the car off nicely.

im going to get doggy's custom spoiler raiser blocks. just not sure if im going to get carbon fiber or white.

When I had decals on my car, I VERY CAREFULLY used a propane torch (also very handy in getting off brake rotors that are stubborn). You just touch the flame to the decal part and it melts off...then a car wash to get off any extra residue. That was very simply and took no time at all...literally maybe 30 seconds. Longest part was waiting for it to cool a couple seconds before peeling again because it gets hot.

Don't a bunch of people post saying I'm an idiot for doing this. I've seen it done before professionally and is actually where I got the idea.
