Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has used this bar. Ebay: BOMZ strut bar I know that the 95-99 neons work with modifications but was just wondering if it will apply to this as well. Yes, i am a n00b. Anyone heard of Bomz? any good? Any input is greatly apreciated!

Thanks!

hey I know theres already a strut bar (stock) on my celica like this:
...___
0/......\0

Will this replace it or both work together like this?
...___
0/___\0

Pretty cheap to - do you will this really improve handling (strong enough?) It seems to be raising about 2 inches also... could this be a problem when it comes to close the hood??

????? This is not true!!!! I just got it in the mail and its looks like it will bolt on fine! The tower connection is a complete loop and reaches well, I just want to be sure that the hood closes before I say that ti works perfectly (I need to finish drilling holes still.

Maybe they sent you the wrong one? Because the one that I got was the exact one pictured.

The one with the FULL ring is the one you all want (pictured). Not the half ring.

just so you know, bomz is a terrible.. terrible brand. that strut bar will probably flex more than like... rubber. they're really cheap, and all their products i know of are just awful.

Yeah that what i was worrying about. is this really gonna improve handling (15 bucks metal bar) or is it more a cosmetic upgrade. What is it made of exactly? is it thick? I don't think so...

i doubt you will notice any difference front or back strut bars...the celica already has great handling.

I just put mine on yesterday. For $25, who cares about the handling(it won't be worse). I took of the stock one and the mounting brackets from the new one and painted them metal flake blue to match the car. I had no problem getting both on at the same time. Looks killer by the way. I have pics, but don't know how to post them. If someone will host them, I will e-mail them.

Go in "View Your Profile" in the left menu on the front page. Then click "Manage your Account" and finally Add Celica Photos.

I don't know what you are talking about. I got it and its hard as hell. Works great. With both this bar and my suspension upgrade, my celica turns on a dime now.

I have the Megan Racing one on my GT. It works great. Looks good too. I'm not sure how much it stops flex. It seemed like it helped some, but the GT's already had the stock bar. The rear GT-4 bar was what did the most help. But seriously, the Megan Racing one will work. I love this companies mufflers too.
