After much deliberation, scolding by some, frustration, guilt and finally relief, I've decided on a color. Well actually, I've decided again on a color. Awhile ago I had decided on a color which I felt was the greatest color ever. Nogaro Blue. And then some painted their cars versions of blue. Pieters car ultimately made me change my mind on the color, because his car is basically exactly like mine and having 2 cars so very much the same bothered me, I didnt wanna step on the toes of creativity. So the search began for another color, and I found Graphite Grey Metallic. A great color. But I found many variants of graphite grey, and everyday many cars of the graphite nature, and also, the nagging feeling that my heart wasnt in Graphite Grey Metallic.

So after scolding from friends, much deep, inner though, I cannot bring myself to settle. I shall go Nogaro (funding willing). I think this path was way to hard to reach, many may not understand, some, maybe all to well.

My buddie has an s-4 with that color, its hot, but then he sold it and got an a4 with darker blue, even hotter. Id say go for a darker blue, i think latinos is to bright/poastel.

Im also thinking about painting my car, when i get funds a graphite gray, im thinking more along the line of the lexus is-300 color, or maybe just stick with a black peral or somthing.

Yeah thats why I picked Nogaro. Theres no colors that really look like it. It was this color or Laguna Seca, and LS is a lil to light for me.

Yeah I know I know, but could you feel the inner turmoil?

I think maybe with the addition of a car chase, a murder, and a hot woman it'll make for a good TV movie.

I dunno on that last one Doug...That girl is pretty good looking though wink.gif.
Those pants are um...Tight heh...

And Supersprynt, I completely understand your color situation. Its a hard choice, especially if you want to stand out from cars of the same with many similarities. Me, I love black (although its a pain in the a$$ to keep clean) and I can tell you how many Black Celicas with an invader kit I have seen but I still love the color so I think I am going to Go With A Metallic Black Pearl (Maybe a Red Peal on Black base coat?-Gotta think about that one).

personally, and from experence, non-metallic colors, especially bright ones, show scratches like mad (like swirl marks and car wash marks)... That Norago blue screams out to me that it will be the same, even if it is pearl coat, if im not mistaken... the color IS hott, but that alone would make me think twice...

If you mean like a drive through car wash, you can forget that. I've brought my truck through one once and then thats its. I never bring them in there. I am not going to worry about how it shows scratches and what not, I'm going to be very meticulous with the paint. It'll always have wax on it, and it'll always be clean.

glad your not going for the is300 metallic grey. a lot of cars around my area have that color. i was actually thinking about doing this color but i have an obsession with white cars. all of my cars on grand theft auto and gran turismo are white.

like supersprynt, im am also very wacked in the head when it comes to color of my vehicle.
