on feb 22, the day when my celica got disfigured....sigh..... this is how it happens... i was going 45 on a 50 highway.. i nvr speed unless there's no traffic and i'll definitely not speed when it's raining or snowing.. so there's quite alot of cars but traffic flow was going smoothly.. suddenly, a pretty old car cut right infront of me, he was so close to me and i horned him, and guess what, he slammed on his brakes and his car fully stopped. i jammed on my brakes car skidded cause there's slush on the highway and it hit him. there was no room for braking distance... airbags popped and my glasses flew off... i wore my glasses and pulled to the accident lane got off car and the car that i hit was gone??!?!?! that B**ch ran away~!!!! so... take a look at how much damage was caused... gotta spend $6000 to repair it... wel.. on the bright side, my car's gonna get the GT4 front end, a new paint job and a sports steering wheel... but it's really hurting me and my wallet.... here are the pics.

That sucks, it also looks totalled. You can buy a different 6gc for less than 6 and still do the front end conversion. Personally I'd re-think.

i thought so too.. but i found out the engine's running fine.. only the radiator's busted.. and the support, reinforcement bar, headlights, hood, bumper.. car's able to start, run, alignment's straight.. and i have alot of feelings for this car... i've spent alot of time on it.... well.. i think what's expensive's the paint job, it cost $1800 for the whole car, $1200 for the bumper and hood front toyota world.. that's $3000 right there.

damn shin i feel ya bro. i spent 4200 on my car last spring b/c of an accident. just couldnt part with it. hope you car is done by the summer so we can do some meets.

my friend over at the body shop said that he would be able to get everything done in 2 weeks. including the wait for the hood and bumper, i think it'll take like 3 weeks for everything to get done. i really hope i'll be able to be at the meet too. i was lucky though.. the radiator was thick enough so it sort of blocked a good amount of impact and prevent the front from going all the way in... sigh... why do these people have to drive like that...

yea.... thank god i always keep my seat belts on... but you guys know something, the airbags didn't help this time... it popped and hit me in a face, and the passanger side airbag popped and broke my windshield..... i was wondering, if the airbag didn't pop, would the windshield be still intact ???

i did a rear end accident into an f150

much less damage but same style to say

i got away with minimal unnoticable damage don't think frame

but what you have bent EVERYTHING in the front you screwed frame
you have to part that and then buy another celi less the 6k

You might get lucky with no frame damage, if you say it still drives and the alignment is fine. Have it looked at tho
