I think I am going to do the supras, even though every custom car and their mother has them. Who on this site has them? I once saw in euro-lowrider a civic that did them and he used the reverse(white/clear) lense on all 4 lights and changed the bulbs. It was different.

Do you both go to the same optometrist?

Here is another angle of oreo's car that's not in his profile. It should be the only car you even consider looking at for the Supra conversion.

thats not a supra hood. the supra is too wide. he just cut vents in it like the one from f&f. its a clean car cept the wing. all he needs are clear front turnlights to match the whiteness.

i do have to admit that the white car with the conversion looks like a clean conversion. isn't there a gap on the sides of em that part of the body is hanging over it like creating a shadow effect at least on the other ones...

I think what it is that make soreos rock compared to the others, is that he used the supra rear.

I think the others dont look good at all.

Thats cause he used a supra bumper. If you use any celi bumper with supra lights its not gonna look right. Supra lights sit high cutting into the hatch a little. These people are molding them where the celi lights sit making them look weird cause they need to be higher

Agreed 100% Oreo has a special look due to the supra bumper. I want something badly, and have not figured it out yet. I did think the white car is clean though. And ghost dog, I couldn't open up the pics. Can someone post them.

it would look good even with a celica rear bumper

i mean just put the top of the lights flush with the deck lid

those people are just putting them in the middle eeeeeeew

cut out the rear panels a little
make the top of the lights touch the deck lid and it will look good IMO

just don't do it like the rest of those conversions yuck

I am able to se the pics now ghost dog. Your right, they just don't look good. My other ideal would be, relocate the plate to the bottom, straight long panel like the 360 modena or 355 ferrari going through the plate area from taillight to tailight , under the panel fill in my rear bumper, so its just the panel.

n/p man. if anything its nice to give you an idea of what you want since you actually have the skills to make it reality

but what do you mean by light panel? as in the third brake light?

Here you go ghost dog. I mean the panel with the 4 round lights. What I want to do is buy a kitcar replica tailight panel and lay it across my rear, from one end to the other going across the license plate area. The plate goes to the bottom like you had it, and under the light panel, that gets molded to the rear bumper. Now the light panel does not get molded. I think this would be an easy conversion to do, and the ferrari/round lights only look good in a long panel. I can get the panel on ebay or a kitcar manufacturer. My rear kinda looks like the modena rear.

Player how did you shave your plate. I bought an extra one on ebay to mess with. I was thinking of spraying expanding foam and then glassing it, and molding it in

Both you guys have done great jobs! The picture of the g35coupe lights has really got me thinking. The hood line needs to be readded. I think this is what i want to do. Do you guys like the g35s? There has been a few conversions done already. I also like the ferari lights, but I like the panel not molded in. I am really thinking about doing this. I checked ebay for some lights this morning. none frown.gif

personally and it's just my opinion but i think you should just leave the backlights the way it is. i think that if you have a certain car leave everything the way it is and don't try to change it into something that it's not suppose to be. the best light option that i think you should get is the jdm backlights. anything else except that you shouldn't even be thinking about it, but then again it's just my opinion.

The problem i have with my rear end, is my taillights looks so 80s. The front, you get projectors and it modenizes the front like the lexus or mercedes. The rear, it just looks like an old car. I only like the hatchback jdm taillights. the coupe/vert look like stock with some tint spray painted at the bottom. I can't justify dropping 250 on them, when I don't really think they look better then stock. I know the conversion is going to be alot of work, but its gotta be done. The only other tailights i like are for the koenigsegg cc2
