Hey there people,

It has been a while since i was here, but i have been busy with school, work and... my car. Together with the owner of supras.nl (Arnout van der Kamp, who is an expert when it comes to supras and knows A LOT about celica as well) I have modified my car from being fairly stock, but just a bit tickled, to what it is now. Completely new, bigger turbo, bigger injectors, bigger fuelpump, bodykit, suspension, wheels, AEM EMS and much more.

Check the pics and the list of mods and tell me what you think!

- GT-28 Turbo
- 800 cc injectors
- bigger fuelpump
- new custom downpipe
- Blitz Nur Spec R, exhaust
- Custum Air Intake
- HKS BOV
- Apexi exhaust temp gauge
- Apexi oil temp gauge
- AEM air / fuel ratio gauge
- AEM EMS
- AVC-R boostcontroller
- C-One front bumper, side skirts rear lip
- GT-FOUR lifter blocks rear spoiler
- white side blinkers
- HKS turbotimer
- 5zigen Pro Racer GN+ (Hyper black) 18" rims
- Tein dampers and springs (EDFC compatible)
- Shortshifter

the braking kit is basically ready to go, but it needs to be made still

the problem is that Rotora wants to make 5 minimum, before they make the mall for it.

that is why i need to sell one, so i can get the count up to 5, when i sell one, i can put one set on my car as well

pretty frustrating, but the stock gt4 brakes arent the worse luckily

hahaha, thats funny!! Two more Dutchies! Good to see you here as well Fietsbel! i didnt know you were posting here as well. Awesome! You coming on Friday right? to the dyno??

And Silvan, thanks for your reply, yeah i am quite happy with the car... so far lol.

All the other guys, also thanks heaps for your kick ass replies, im quite curious wether it will have that much power... 380hp, maybe on the krank, but i doubt it on the wheels. More like 300 on the wheels i expect, but we'll see.

Im running on 1.0 bar boost "basically". My turbo is so big, that right now it cannot be controlled with my boostcontroller. (it still in there to measure boost, thats it, i had it in there to boost up my old stock turbo). When i have put in a new 3SGTE engine, completely rebuild with better pistons, valve springs etc etc, then we can put the turbo up to 2.0 bar and that should deliver a lot more power, especially in 4th and 5th gear. I cannot have my ignition higher than 3 degrees, while i know people that have it on 18 degrees. (especially on supras thats very doable).

Sometimes my boost peaks up to quite high though, before it peaked to 1.74 bar, today it peaked to 1,94 bar, but i have to keep a strong eye on it, wether its just a peak or a build up. If its a build up, i have to be very careful not blowing up my (current) engine. Though exhaust temp does not go higher than 950 degrees Celcius and oil not higher than 90 so far. Also the air fuel ratio is running perfectly well. If anybody is thinking about putting in a new EMS, i can really recommend getting an AEM and getting Sean from torguefreaks.com (american) to program it. He programmed my celica as well. His collegue John is specialist in 3SGTE engines even.

If you guys have more questions, just post, ill answer.

if you ever doubted in getting teins or not, i can take your doubt away

stock springs of the gt4 or way too comfortable and i might have had the bad luck of getting a GT4 that had bad springs.

The springs are quite stiff, but you can change that. (they are EDFC compatible, so if can wipe my ass with 100 bills, im gonna get that installed as well) You can also set the ride height, and when you take corners, it barely hangs over, which is perfect. Especially for on the track, where i wanna go soon. To make it even better i think sway and strut bars would be a good thing to get as well. But that can be done later ;-) It drives great for now.

Hey man mooie bak hoor.

thanks for the kind words man

just get a gt4 as well, you can import them from italy really easy. around 15000 euro's to get one. after that, just get it modified at supras.nl, arnout has the experience now from mine. Another guy with a black one just came here today as well, probably will get his mods at supras.nl as well.

Ah i see, did you buy yours at autobedrijf Moree ? I know that they import GT Fours from Italy. Or did you import it yourself ?

15.000 isnt that much actually, is that including the importing (BPM + License)?Perhaps i will look for a Gt4 as well when the time comes.

Yes, he bought the car from Moree.
You can import a GT4 by yourself, check www.mobile.de or www.autoscout24.nl for some GT4's. You can also calculate the amount that you have to pay for BPM at the www.autoweek.nl site. The license/rdw check will cost you around 450 euro's.

as you can see the loss is HUGE

330 hp at the crank, where as only 175 horse at the wheels

anybody with a GT4 having almost 40% loss?

it COULD be that the dyno is not correct though, cos we also dyno'd a supra that day and the results of that one, were completely off.
