Pittsburgh PA Area meet Options

Ok guys, I am finally back and able to talk online again since the move into my new house! And now it is time to organize another meet. (in the South Park area) I have talked to a few people about it already and am just looking to see how many more people we can get to come to the meet.

Any car is welcome and bring your friends!

The date is still up in the air to see how many people are able to come!

Lets shoot for a date some time around early April and go from there.

I should be able to make it. Any ideas on a date? I'm not sure if i'll be able to get the car out of storage yet because it doesn't have insurance on it yet. I haven't even seen it in 5 or 6 months since right after the last meet. I miss it.

Again, This is for the Pittsburgh area meet (not philly)! Please do not post any other information for other meets unless you are only informing us that there is another meet on the date we have a meet planned and it would make a conflict.

So with the slow responce we seem to be getting so far it looks like the meet wont be for at least a few more weeks. Hope to see more people wanting to join up with us. The only reason we have not posted a date for the meet is so we can find out when the best day would be to get the most people to show up!

Note: the NE charity meet is on the 16th so we wont be having a meet on that weekend to avoid any conflict with celi members wanting to go to that meet also.

I would not mind getting together once a month if people were cool with it???

That sounds cool, I hope I can make it to the meet. You all will have to figure out when the meet is going to be. I have my Celi in the garage for the paint job now so I hope I will be finished in at the most two weeks. We'll see how that goes any how can't wait to see all you, whenever the meet is. Latz

I would suggest the the 9th or the 23 of april, but i am siding more towards the 23 for a couple reasons....

1. My new toy is completely running yet, so I'd love not to be rushed in putting it back together
2. Dave hit on this, we need everyone to have enough time to clear their schedule's so they can come
3. and prob the most important..im hoping the weather would be nice towards the end of april compared to the end or March or the begining of April

jus some idea for everyone to think about..once we set a date we should start a list of people who plan on coming

I am down with a meet now that i have my car back in action. I work every saturday till 3ish in the afternoon. So sunday would work out better for me. Anytime in april is good for me and i think having a meet once a month or every two months would be a good idea.

Good Question! A good time would probably be at about 12 noon. That way if people are planning to drive from farther away they have time to make the drive and hang out the majority of the day.
Does that work for everyone? If not we can always give out cell #'s and meet up if we go off on a celica cruise around pittsburgh

the parking lot is always changing as far as i know, lol
but you find it, the SP stretch is only so big.

i'm blanking on the name of the road though....corrigan?

im kinda scared that it wont make it to the meet, it's going to be close..i took the valve cover off the other day and saw I have some bent valves which is very very bad..usually that means that had to bottem out some where...and usually that some where is the piston...so I need to take the head off and see what kind of shape my pistons are in now ...I really hope I have her running in time for this meet

Ya im bringin my cousins with their 300zx, then their friend who has a nice eclispe, he said that he could possibly bring his friends with a rsx and something else, and then a couple of my friends if they can make it. One has a probe, a monte carlo, and the other one has a RSX. -john

yeah, i just went down to my shop and talk with my mechanic and the news isnt great..the car is not going to be done by this meet guys, and i jus sent my valve cover out to get powder coated so there is no way im gonna be able to make this meet, however I deff think that once everything gets established for this meet when start thinking about the MAY meet since were gonnna try and get a meet a month going

The meet was pretty cool ! I think everyone had fun. I cant go back to south park for a couple weeks now cause i am a wanted man with the police but it is all good .

We are all thinking of a time for the next meet already
