-the solid way, the long way!

-this method, is not to take off your liftgate or trunk. and the holes will be sealed shut.

-takes time(solder, drop by drop)

to fill the emblem holes, you got to go to the local hardware store and ask for water piping lead-free solder, solder grease(very important, it makes your solder stick to your desired surface). also pick up a hand-propane like @ checkers, autozone ect. sand off your surface, 80 grit sandpaper. take out your third brake light off from the car. clean the surface(s), outside and inside. put solder grease on the outside of the holds and inside(liftgate, trunk). put alot of grease, w/o it the solder will not stick. stuff some rags or "shop-towel brand" paper behind the two holes. becareful, not to let the rags or paper towel get in the holes. lift up your liftgate(hatch) or truck to the max. stand on something tall, use the hand-propane to heat up the lead-free solder. slowly start to drip the solder from the outside of holes then to the center. don't worry if the solder is mounting up to a big lump. you'll have to sand it down...w/ 36 grit sand paper. do the same to the other hole. remember to slowly sand. some excess solder will fall and slide off the liftgate. care the solder are hot! when done, clean surface off, wipe off grease, use rubbing alcohol. apply very------>very thin layer of light putty! sand with 2000 grit sandpaper. wetsand better! don't rush the sanding!

thank you for your time and post(s)

I prefer the duct tape I have over the hole, lol j/k, good idea on the soldering, never thought about that, and since I work at radioshack and have access to %30 discount on the stuff maybe I'll give it a go.

Yea I just welded up the holes for the emblems and spoiler. I guess soldering could work too though.
