MR2 owners can buy the metal plates from any dealer and i don't see why we shouldn't be able to get as well ..

these came on 98 jdm celica 's as option ...

there is a GB in UK on gt4oc for these but price is 155.00 GBP .. which is 300 bucks for us .. only item i want for my interior but not for 300 bucks ..

you can just buy just plates and mod your sills but oem jdm sill is best for fit

here is UK part numbers
67918-20180 Celica Branded Kick Plate - RRP £44.78
T67917-20220 Celica Branded Kick Plate - RRP£44.78
T67913-20230-C0 Right Hand Side Door Sill Trim - RRP £41.15
T67914-20190-C0 Left Hand Side Door Sill Trim - RRP £41.15

i used to have those MoMo door sills that they had on sale on ltbmotorsports.com awhile back for $10 .. sale ended.... one of them came off but can't get them no more... but those look really sweet.... but $300 for door sills are alittle too much for me.. i'll rather spend those on a BOV or something.. biggrin.gif here's pic of the momo door sill

hey,
guys they are 300 from UK since $1.50 roughly equals a pound

so 155 times .50 and you get roughly $300 ..

mr2 ones are $150-160 complete for a set (sills and plate)

they will be way cheaper if we get direct from japan ..

if they are available to order in Uk then we can get from japan

You can make your own for about $25. Check this link here VW make your own sills

I will give this a try over the summer, along with adjusting the splitters, some body work...

You will have to wait till the first pair will be developed to get the exact price. as for the ballpark figure - they will be atleast 40% cheaper then OEM 98+ ones.

carbon fiber door SILLS? or carbon fiber door panel? door panel would be way hot.. cus we'd make doggy do the 3 piece midrange panal wink.gif but door sills? They weigh what. like.. 1.25 pounds? I'd personally rather have shiny metal.

Are these CF door sills gonna come to fruition? I did the DIY ones, but in all honesty they dont look very good in person, mostly because of the shape of the celica door sills (two tiered, top section has an arch which makes it hard to mount on, and bottom tier angles in towards the back so its not aethetically pleasing to mount there).
