Actually looking pretty good.. looks like the front bumper needs some work where the headlights used to be (still goes up) but you're getting rid of that front anyway.

BTW, Just call it the Celica Supra Mk II

Very envious of your fiberglassing abilities player. I hate working with the stuff, and only do so when I have to...You did a damn fine job modifying that bumper and that sureee takes a lot of patience, time, and determination.

Good work.

the lines really arn't a big deal right now so i'm leaving it alone the hood is REALLY hard to work with i think i'm goin to have a custom F/G hood made when i have the cash and wrap it in CF

the visibility is good i have a few angle issues to work out they are tilted to far down

weeeeeeeeeeeeeee! once i do my 7afte shooting for a dream of 200-250 hp
yea coomer thats the front i'm goin to use i think its hot and a lot of supras have them but then again i'm not a supra i'm special wink.gif
thanks for the great reviews guys i really appreciate it!
we'll see how things pan out cause the front/fenders/rear bumper are goin to run me 536$ to get so it will be awhile that i'm sporting this front so i'll clean it up a bit maybe a gt4 bumper scoop we'll just have to see

No prob man thats what im there for. Its onyl going to make you better.

Being an architecture major you hear so much negative feedback.. but it only makes you better.

I give you mad props for doing it, and not giving up. custom molding and glassing is not easy and takes skill. Just keep working im sure it will come out great.

Hmm its alotta work and i give you props for it but i think supra tails look better on it especialy since your going to all the trouble of doing the front. Thankfully your ditching the fenders and bumper but i wish you would ditch the scoop. If your gonna make it a baby supra might as well looke that part wink.gif

its not something i would do (i like the 4 head light look) but you have done a marvelous job even if its not to my liking biggrin.gif

they might wanna race me but i won't do it
gave up on racing so they can suck my tail pipe and deal with being the faster but UGLY car

i mean we hangout at mcdonalds/burgerking parking lot here for race nights
how fast can you go in there? 5mph

damn straight i can keep up to that lol

nah supra tails are a no i still want the tails to be 6th gen celica
to keep some of its identity
but now i'm thinking about the supra trial rear bumper soo hot but 900-1500$ for it blah

oh well

oh and that vent? it HELPs a ton you stick your hand over it and soo much heat just pours out

Haha...I feel you on this. biggrin.gif People wanted me to do Supra front end to complete that Supra look but I didn't because I wanted a part of it to be a celica. Thats why I went JDM biggrin.gif Anywayz, nice job on the conversion. Its Wayyy better than that white celica that was on ebay couple years back.

No, it's a perfectly good comment. I'm relatively new here but I think that when you try to make one car look like another, in a situation like this, it's called RICE. Like guys with Civics who put Integra front ends on their cars, just buy a ****ing Integra! I give props to the custom work because I know that it's very tedious and hard work, and hard to make good. But when someone says CUSTOM that means COMPLETELY DESIGNED FROM SCRATCH not trying to make it look like something it's not. 6th generation Celica's look great on their own, I know more people who would flame his car than praise it.

Good job on the body work tho, I would have just done something completely different

dude shut up he wants to keep his celica and have supra headlights get over it... now if he put supra taillights on it then its getting to be rice but since he likes the look of one over the other then good for him

thanks....yea its actually 20% for me now.....
70% of me doing this is for the future "me"
i remember riding in my parents car seeing someone with a modified car go past and think "wow thats awesome i really want one of those and to have sumthing that great" well now i'm living it out doing sumthing for my childhood me so that there will be more childhood dreams that progress into realities! thats what i love about this and then 10% is for everyone else who can't do what i'm doin

ok civic-integ conversion not really rice? i know people with it i don't think its rice? now if you switch EVERYTHING over headlights, tails, bumpers, ect... then your pushing the rice limit with your park bench ontop of your hatch

for my car umm 99% people like it 1% don't ha fine i don't give a damn if you like it or not take it for what you want

but i'm staying true to what my car is by calling it a celica with supra headlights
and KEEPING the celica taillights this my friend creates an artistic balance between "i wish i had that car so i'll make mine look like it" and "i'm goin to standout in my own catagory away from you and be unique"

oh and "custom" doesn't mean from scratch smile.gif

just go look at hot rods they are ALL custom but have stock chassis? or a custom bike that has a HD softtail frame? it doesn't have to be 100% ground up to be custom> in this community custom could be shaving a door handle and thats a "custom door" or if i make another gt4 bumper vent and mold it to a invader kit
that makes a "custom front bumper" its changing the original design to suit your liking thats what makes custom.. not "i drew these headlights out on paper spent 2000$ having them made then i plastered them to my car"
yea thats custom too but its all the same lol

Personally I think the 4 headlight look is beautiful, but I am a big big fan of custom work, so I give plyr props.

Yeah thats just a really stupid comment. "Buy a Supra if you want a Supra" jesus whats the whole point in making it CUSTOM.

Props to Playr.

Good job on the body work tho, I would have just done something completely different

obviously customizing is his hobby, and hes doing the work himself.. supra = 25,000 ... easy plus a nice one and modding it will run u up to 50 g's on a engine with a million miles. f*ck that , now he has a one of a kind car, for a 1,000 bucks.. dont hate, we all have "wanna be" supras on this site anyway. i converted my celica , and when its painted ill post pics, ill leave u with ur jaw on the floor.

i'm really not sure what i'm goin to do with it

right now i'm sticking to the vader front and z3 sides since i believe that the rear needs to be finished b4 redoing an already completed (90%) front

that and i need to have a hood custom made for the car outta f/g as well
