I have a '94 ST coupe and was thinking of getting the vis or Eurbuni Z or Zephpyr kit. Since the rear lip is designed for the hatchback and will need modification has anyone done this mod? The other quetion has anyone installed a kit and had to modify the front lip quite a bit due to the different model years? Eurbuni as I understand has a 94-96 kit for the front lip and makes it easier to fit. Any issues with sideskirts?

Thanks

The Erebuni makes two different versions of THEIR zephyr kit. They are called the 404 and the 404A. The 404 fits 6th gens from 1994-95 and the 404A fits 6th gens from 1996-1999. So if you were to get Erebuni, then go for 404 since yours is a '94. As for sideskirts there might be minor problem. I'm not sure if anybody has done a mod to a Zephyr kit but i think theres a couple people on this site that has done mods to make the rear bumper of an Invader fit a coupe. Shouldnt be much different i dont think

zephyr rear is easier to modify for the coupe than the invader. however it still requires some custom work and will probably set you back a couple hundred. any good bodyshop should be able to do this for you; if they say they can't they are probably just too lazy.

edit:

just out of curiousity, since you are from British Columbia how do you have a coupe? I was under the impression that only hatchbacks were released over the border. or did you import it?

I was thinking about that the other day. I bet the 6th gen celica coupe is rare as far as a global standpoint. I have no clue why they didn't just make it a curren. They probably had excess celica front ends. : )

apparently US consumer get confused if there are too many similar models in a lineup. I wish I was being sarcastic but I honestly read that somewhere. that and we are more impressed by displacement than by forced induction. hence the 5sfe over the 3sgte and the ka24de over the sr20det. thank god its changing now, but imports from the last decade got the short end of the stick.

I use to live in NY state for 5 years, so I imported the car when I moved to BC. Yes I drove the Celica 3500 miles to the west coast by myself. Let me tell you nothing between Tacoma and Chicago!
