ok, i thought it would be cool to start a thread using the google maps to find common attractions around the u.s. or world if it works for that too! Im currently trying to find Area 51. Ill post it when i find her! heres niagara, near where I go to school

in the early 1960s, nuclear wepons testing was banned above ground. So the US started testing their weapons underground. Needless to say, a large explosion underground creates a large sinkhole. Those giant craters are what you are seeing.
