BlackCelicaGT94, did you just go to your local toyota dealer and say "i want jdm tails from a gt4?" ? cause if you do, they will just look at you funny and say that they cant do that.

what you have to do is give them the part number of the tails. then they will look it up based off that and order it.

no we gave them the number and were good friends with the parts manager. he entered the number and their program cant do the japanese numbers. some dealers can and some cant.

I've given numbers to my dealer too, and they can't get them, even though some people can get the same stuff with the same part numbers from their dealers.

maybe because his bumper is already black she will save a buck or 2 from not painting it ? that's my guess, but shipping from NY to where she is will cost at least $100. The more I think about it, that is a retarded offer. To me that isn't the kind of deal I would give any member on this site.

otherwise, I would hit up a junkyard no sence wasting money on new stuff when you can get a old one in great condition and paint it. else get the bumper from the dealer if you want an actualy "new" part.

Tails should not cost you more then $250. I got mine off ebay and there new from the dealer, just sold over ebay, its the same as if you got them from a online store.

my dad doesnt work at a shop he works at WURTH - a company that supplies nuts bolts fastners etc to shops around the area - and around the world! my dad gets some hook ups. At toyota he gets things for cost. 75 bucks for a bumper painted is prett good especially by the guy who would do it. he did my hood and bumper and it matched perfectly. New paint matching perfectly to 10 year old paint - love it

Okey, enough jokes. I would rather pay a bit more to get something from a company (a shop where I can visit and kick ass if something isn't right) than to buy over the Internet or even Ebay. When you get burned a couple of times from buying on the Internet you start to appreciate a shop. Your parents are probably like that for a reason BlackCelicaGT94. I don't think they do it to be mean or anything. Listen to them, cause they are probably wise
