Yes, i know, the usual CD-r, burn data on there, wonderful 700 or less megabytes worth of music. But could i use a dvd (4.7 GB)?

you cant play them in your car cd player no... only dvd players... i am not too sure if you can burn songs to a dvd cd.... i think you can though..

You would need a DVD player to be able to do that.. An MP3 cd still will hold 140 or so songs at decent quality..

mmm, a while back i found a few car dvd players that'd play mp3 dvds.

(begin shameless plugging of hard disk players)

but y'know, 4.7 just isn't enough for my entire music collection. and dealing with more than one disc is a hassle (then again, so is dealing with a hard disk player that might not always be in your car).
