hmm it depends, I have verizon, which isnt bad because its free to talk to anyone else with verizon... I usually have service.

but, i was also thinking of getting a nextel, b/c a lot of my friends are getting them and it costs me a lot to call them.

so i guess it depends on who you talk to? confused.gif

lol... i might be the best person to answer you this? well... Verizon does have good reception but i think their plans ain't that great compared to their other competitors like Cingular and T-mobile. So it all depends on how much you wanna pay and how many mins you normally use. i'll only recommend Nextel if majority of your friends use them. Nextel plans offer very little mins, reception's been really bad lately, but hopefully after the complete merger with Sprint PCS the network would get alot better. main purpose of nextel's Direct Connect. that'll save you on alot of mins and the other attractive part's that they offer a free incoming plan... not sure if it's available on your market. for cheaper monthly rates and more mins, that'll either be T-mobile or Cingular. over this 2. i'll recommend T-mobile. it offers, Free Nationwide long distance, Free roaming, 600 whenever mins and unlimited nights and weekends. biggrin.gif

i say cingular, Free Nights, free weekends, free talk to all cingular and att users, theres no such thing as longdistance as long as its in the US. reception is great i'm not sure your area but in VA tmobile reception is garbage compared to cingular.

I spend 200-400 dollars a month on my cell bill with Verizon.

They have a unlimited text plan but it sucks. Free to text and pic mesage with anyone who has verizon but only 500 texts to others. Wel lthat doesnt work for me since most my friends dont have verizon or use AOL to hit me up. and I send pics from my phone usually to my email. And you cant have the unlimited text/pic with verizon peeps plus another text plan. U only get one or the other.

I use about 2500 - 5000 texts a month so i just have a second phone. I use about 1400 mins a month and thats just day time mins! :-X

I dont think i would suggest verizon if ur gonna use ur phone for EVERYTHING!

I have Cingular

Rollover minutes own because i never use 450 daytime mins...I use my cell after 9 everyday because I am working or at school from 7am until about 9:30pm so obviously I wouldn't use many daytime. plus they have free night weekend (who doesn't). Bluetooth is not restricted with cingular (which in english means free games and ringtones if your friends have them).

I used to have T-Mobile...I didn't get reception in MY OWN HOUSE! I dropped that sh*t like it was hot about 4 months ago and had cingular since then...no complaints yet smile.gif

You won't be disappointed smile.gif

My girlfriend's brother has worked at mostly all of the mainstream cell phone companies (Verizon, Sprint, Cingular, etc.) and he is now a manager at a cingular store in a mall. He convinced me to go with cingular, he says they exceeded the other ones in service, flexability and reception. Like I said before, I have had no problems since I got mine.

I'm on Nextel's free incoming plan. I pay 90 a month total with all the stuff I have in the plan but I have 400mins and I use at most 350 plus I get 60 bonus mins for having net on my phone and when I look up my free incoming use mins, their usually over 4k so yea, I do believe I save alot in the long run. biggrin.gif Gotta love not having to tell people to call me after 9pm pfft, or 7 if your with cingular. tongue.gif

I love my cingular because a lot of my friends have it.... and whoever doesn't have it I pay a lil extra to get my nights and weekends to start at 7pm. And I love the rollover... it's a life saver.... I dont have to worry about using all my minutes.. and if you talk to someone soo much from another carrier it's only $9.99 to add a line each month... works great ( i use it for my g/f)

My idea exactly. One for me, and one for the lady.
