Worst thing happened to me the other day, !!!!!!!!!!! Options

Aight im one of the laziest people ever. lol. Especially when it comes to school. I had to write my research paper for english which isnt my best subject. So i wrote like the whole thing and my parents read it and said that it was bad. lol. No ****, thats me alright. lol. So i had to go to work that day and they sat down and re-wrote the whole thing. I was like o this is good i dont have to do anything and im done with school. Well i turned it in and like a month went by till i had only like 2 days left of school and i got it back. Keep in mind that this grade will make or break my passing/failing of english. I got a 111 outta 150 on it and my grade in english wasnt that great already. I also slacked off the other three grading periods in the year so i got really scared that i wasnt goin to pass engilsh. Last day of school and my teacher who i thought liked me gave everyone a hug at the end of class and said something to everyone when she huged them. At my turn she told me that id do fine in college next year if i bucked-up alittle. So if i would have failed then i thought that she wouldnt say something about next year at school right? Well like 3 days later i got a letter in the mail saying that i failed english and that i have to go to summer school. My heart dropped to the floor. Now i feel like **** and i really want to kill my english teacher cause i think that i failed only by like 2%, which really sucks.

a few of my friends went to summer school. they didnt like it too much, but at least you wont be in highschool next year. just try a little harder and youll be fine.

I had to go to summer school in 9th grade for Algebra 2.. it seriously wasn't that bad. I liked it, then again I had an incredible teacher.

The summer school grade replaces your existing grade of an F. The F will go away forever. Well, of course it's in your records, but it will not count.

yeah you cant be upset at her, you let yourself get in that position. See now I could be mad at my english teacher my senior year because we have exemptions from finals if you have a B or better. & my teacher lost one of my assingments, and she remembers having it but couldnt find it, and because I had an incomplete in an assignment but still had a B in her class w/ a zero I had to take the stupid final. Isnt that the dumbest thing you've heard, teacher screws up and student has to put up w/ their mistake....nm that happens every year

But see the thing that im woried about is that when ur applyin for a job after college their goin to see that i had to go to summer school. dude when you're applying for a career after college...they are not going to look at anything from your highschool. When you went to highschool did they look at your gradeschool grades at all? After you graduate from college all the employer is concerned about is howe you did in college...people change a lot after the age of 18 when responsibiity is crucial so they aren't going to look at highschool

sounds like you deserve to retake it in summer school, but its no big deal probably going to be really easy since its summer school and it shouldn't have any effect on when you get a job later in life or even now.

Or maybe she was being considerate and treated you like everyone else who had actually graduated in front of your classmates, instead of revealing to everybody that you failed and have to go to summer school.

Personally, I'd prefer my classmates not knowing I'm an idiot who slacked off so bad he failed English. This way, you get the summer to make up for it and join your classmates in college on time.

Not like you didn't have plenty of warning that your grade was iffy.

HEY IM OK NOW. lol. The letter that i got was supposed to come to me like a month ago but got mixed up and since i got it recently i thought that i had to go. Dunno if that makes sense but o well. lol. Thanks guys for supporting me. I dont have to go to summer school now and im gonna graduate. That takes a **** load off my shoulders. Wow.
