I heart ebay. I just got a CF hood for 258. I noticed there were a couple other guys bidding on it, any of em you guys? Also if anyone has hood pins they wanna sell, lemme know. Pics as soon as she's installed.
I think I'm actually getting back into "tuning" my celica. If all goes well, I'll be spraying again in time for the TN meet. Hopefully there'll be a boost 5S there I can test the nitrous against.

Hm. I don't use hoodpins. Looks tacky imo. Mine was a steal cuz it's got a crack. But still...iono.

How much are you having to pay for S&H??? I got my CF hood from a guy in my area who sells them on ebay. They were going for $300 on ebay & he sold mine to me for $250 WOOOO. When I picked it up we slid it into my car sideways from the hatch. It BARELY squeezed in there....had to take the head rests off lolanyway Congrats on ur new hood! Post pics when u get it! Well I have 2 buddy's who have cf hood on their tegs and they said @ 70mph+ they rattle and so they got pins. Anybody have that problem. I'd like to avoid pins if I can cuz u know how much I love rice.

haha hoods fit into our hatches easily
i've done it a ton of times but i use hood pins on my hood but thats cause my latch doesn't work |

Had it for a year.... playr thats cool! But it didnt fit that easy...not for me...I have a scratch on my passenger door because it was such a tight fit lol -------------------- |

i dont have pins either. but i do see it move when i drive, hahahah. scary. but yea that was a good price u paid there. hope everything turns out alright.

I got 2 sets of hood pins. I think one set is lockable. If you decide to go with pins and are interested let me know.
