well on my g/f celica she just bought it is a 5th gen but anyways its a celica. i was wondering if u she absoluelty needed a turbo timer?? is it necessary and will it be better for it if she had it? what else should i know about this engine being in the celica. such as how to take care of it like i heard u are supposed to let it run for a couple minutes idle before turning it off is this true? and also when this swap is done in other people cars did yall have a issue with ur temperature gauge and speedometer?? also the exhuast she needs to get a bigger exhaust am i right??

turbo timers arn't necessary but are a good thing to have
" i heard u are supposed to let it run for a couple minutes idle before turning it off is this true?" thats what a turbo timer is for it lets the turbo "cool down" at idle for a short time b4 cutting the car off |

my 3sgte never had a turbo timer. the basic idea is, if you drive it hard, let the motor idle for a few minutes before turning if off for the night.
