I work at quick trip in a ghetto part of town. people steal from us everyday. i make more than minuim wage but i def work for it.

I just sit on my ass all nite suffing the web trying not to fall asleep ... been here almost 4 years now and only have gotten one raise ... if it wasn't for the benifits i would have quit a while ago ..

working for century 16, a local corporate movie theater, is one of the worst jobs you can have. its trash cleanup/nasty food and lowest pay possible, about 10 managers at a time telling you what to do, crappy hours that change every week, i could go on....

Im 17 years old and im janitor...yeah it sucks. Workin since 7th grade so pay is good $10 an hour no benefits. Yeah my life rocks!

I work at Mr. Gattis, its the only family oriented place in town that has a pizza buffet and the biggest gameroom around town so it's always busy. Get paid 6 bux an hour, but my manager is a weirdo who only allows liike, 5 people on the clock at one time even if its busy as hell.Sometimes he makes us do other areas work, as if we dont have enough to do. O yea, i bus tables and clean dishes, and we have to be at the store the earliest, and we get to leave the latest.

i work at islamorada fish company as an expo in the kitchen i make $12 per hour and im getting a second job at hard rock cafe in the seminole casino as a expo also its ok really easy when it slow buts its busy days we can sell over $40,000 of food. those days suck

I dont like mine, but its not dead end or sucks. I get paid, well starting tomorrow will be $13.50. I work at Circuitcity. Its not to bad, i just dont like retail anymore. but they already want me to be a manager.

Digndoug, did you like workin at best buy better than Circuit City? I work at best buy and I was just wondering becuase most our manager (used to work for circuit city) is always going on about how much better best buy is, and I was always curious.

I know the discount here (best buy) sure as hell ROCKS, that's for sure. I imagine it's probably the same at circuit city.

I liked Bestbuy a lot. But the Management was always harder, and the discount rocked. At circuitcity, its def 5 years behind. Like the management sucks.. I only work half as hard as i did and im a god to them.. but i can do what ever i want and i have more freedom. but somtimes its too much, and also we dont have a direct manager for our department, so i basicaly run it myself.. trying to get people to work and get stuff done which is a pain. I am just sick of retail in general, but im sick in sales and get paid well for it, so for now its fine. Also the discount at Circuit SUCKS!

My jobs pays good...$11.50 hr but I work at a bank on the East side of Columbus which is a really bad side of town and we get robbed all the time. It sucks getting a gun put in your face. My second week there I got robbed and the guy did that to me. To bad he only got $1600...HA Ha

I am the manager of my dads business, It doesn't really suck, but working for parents does, he's a workaholic and has high expectations. Profits are dropping a lot due to high gas prices and he points the finger at me, at least until another PC business that's been open for 25 years (don't know the name) shut down beacuse of high operating cost now he believes me. I got a plan that might help us a lot. We also have this a** in the same area who tells our customers were shady, he's the one buying parts from us then marking them up.

don't sell him parts, might hurt you in the short run, but if the other company already shut down you should have the majority people

In this area everybody with an A+ thinks they can get into this, the guy buying parts from us has only been around for 6 months and if you seen the way he operates he doesn't need any help from us digging a hole, not to mention one month after opening Microsoft busted him selling boot leg copies of Windows XP for 50 bucks each (idiot even gave the corporate code with them).

My job isnt awful or anything but I work in sales for Cingular so its retail and having angry middle aged people throw phones at you is not a walk in the park. But like with most sales jobs the pay keeps me around.

hmm, i work two jobs...

first one is basically running forklift and assembly for a machine shop, 40hrs a week (legal max, no OT for me)

second one is a restaurant, busboy. $6.00/hr, and 10% of server tips. About 20 hrs a week. Made $32 in tips, so it put me to like $12/hr.. nice for the weekend, and some extra cash in pocket.

i have 4 jobs...
1. work at an architecture firm 9-5 monday through friday
2. work at nite school with my mom tuesday and thursdays from 6-10
3. work at an appliance store on saturdays and holidays
4. do partys with my buddy on sundays

so thats what i have to do to make money. im what you call a type "A" personality, lol
