Hey everyone. I'm finally modifying the exterior of the celi... I bought a set of SS-III front splitters from Batman a month ago for a good price and Daniel (playr) is fixing the one scratched up one. Then I got in on the gb of the Z-Max side skirts.. They're finally in! Then next I ordered a set of rear SS-III splitters from Chrisc. My girfriend thought she woould contribute to the celi, so she's paying for 20% tint all the way around. I then found a set of GTO blackout headlight covers on eBay... I bought them too.... Last but not least Hart1583 came across an extra ViS carbon fiber invader hood, so naturally I'm buying that too. The car should be painted the week of July 1st and I'll post progress pics.. Once again, here's what I'm gettin for the celi and what I have:

Got the car today... NOt as good as I thought... the back window will probably be re-done... for some reason it bubbled a lil bit.... o well it only cost me $106 and $65 of it was labor... They messed up a few times on the tint so they had to re-do it and I paid for the mistake which I don't mind due to them helping me out.

I forgot... we went to the junkyard yesterday to get power 5th gen mirrors. We got there to pick them up and they hit one with an unloading trailer or somethin like that. So right now I have one power 5th gen slate grey mirror.... I need to buy another. lol

Update: Car is in the shop and they called today to say they had bad news... The lady who wrecked the car before me let the shop use body filler in the rear quarter and a lot of it.... They were pissed but I guess they're fixing it..... Said it SHOULD still be done by deadline..... and I also recieved my c/f dash kit today... I liked it and decided I could use some more cf so... yeah.. lol it looks good IMO

Hey everyone... I went to the shop today... forgot my frigin cam... everything is ready to be painted and today I just had to decide how much pearl I wanted in it... I like wingless hatches better than hatches w/ stock wing - it lets the lines of the car flow better. |

Very nice exterior styling. Its a perfect blend of well thought out modifications while keeping the beautiful classic lines of the sixth generation Celica - a balance I am striving for with my own project. Well done!

There will be no dropping for a while... maybe when the car goes into the storage garage for the winter. Parents still set some rules.

how come you didnt blend in the kit as you were respraying the car, as a result the kit just looks "stuck on" really needs lowering shame as i really liked the origional spoiler but hey ho good work on seeing the project through and glad your happy with it

Blend the kit? What are you talking about? I had the kit put on EXACTLY how I wanted it done. It does need lowered, but I live under my parents rule and they said no for now. I like the Supra spoiler too, and I even got it painted just incase I miss it too much. But I like spoilerless. -------------------- |
