Everybody puts that you can't get these parts for the hood at toyota, right. Well amazingly they got it for me. The first time i gave them the part number i didn't put a color code so they put one for me. I think they put a u.s. color code. But this time i asked them to try again and i gave them the full part number with the japan color code they were able to get it. Japan doesn't have topaz metallic but the u.s. does so i gave them the japanese black color code and i'm just going to get it painted to match my car. I just wanted to share that with everyone. So if you need those parts try again at your toyota dealer and try and use a japanese color code.

the three vent inserts on the gt4 hood. the two closer to the windshield and the one by the main hood vent in the center of the hood.

nice....good to know u can get them. sometimes you cant get some of these parts and 1st and then toyota realizes there is a demand for them and starts to offer them . i think for a long time, you couldnt get the hood and stuff from a local dealer.

yep just checked and ordered. the black ones are a good number the others are not. thanks for that bit of info

i actually found this out, a couple months back. The reason i didn't share is because even though your toyota dealership can get them. Toyota world can get it for heap load cheaper. I even had dealer discount on the parts and still theres was cheaper.

really well i already ordered it. It's a lot more convenient for me to just order from toyota. But if i knew that before then maybe i would have got it from toyota world.

that is cheaper. but i'm happy now that toyota can get almost what ever i ordered so in case something terrible happens to my car then they have everything i need.
