While driving in Alhambra area (near LA california). I past by a parked 94-94 white 6gc with a supra rear bumer, supra tails and custom celica trunk lid. It looked pretty nice. The back fender was cut away and folded to make room for the supra bumper. I would figure the supra bumper was cut and resized. There was a small gap between the trunklid and the bumper between the lights but it wasnt to bad and probably could be fixed easily.

I took some pix with a friends camera and i should have them up asap.

I left a a 6gc invite on the cars window.

Where's it!??!?! I want to see! Have you ever been to JJ Cafe in Alhambra? It's on Garvey between Garfield and Atlantic. There, you could ALWAYS find 2 white 6gen GTs parked there. They're prolly owned by some waiters in that cafe.

Sorry for the wait lol. Also sorry for the night pix. As u can c there still is a gap between the trunk lid, bumper and tails, But if done correctly this can small problem can be solved. Also take note of the fender area that has also had some work done to it.

I think it is a start... figured if they took all the time to mount those, you think they'd finish it to look good... but I am still not sure why spend so much time on the back conversions yet do nothing for the front or side...

I don't get why they tried so hard to convert their car into another.... Why not just sell the Celica, use that money plus the money that person's gonna waste on converting, and buy himself a Supra!?!??

The worst I've seen is converting a Honda Accord into a Toyota Camry... confused.gif confused.gif confused.gif

But then, we try so hard trying to convert our lovely American STs and GTs into SS-III and GT-4s... rolleyes.gif

i converted to supra headlights....doesn't mean i want a supra
0re0 converted to supra tails.......doesn't mean he wasnts a supra

we just want sumthing different.....my god i sick of people saying why do that when you can buy a supra?

coverting = 427$ for headlights and 30$ in materials
supra = (98 TT) 60,000$

tell me does that add up no thanks shut up now

supra's dont sell for that much here. nowhere near 60gs. more like 15-35k. even the 98 tt. i agree with plyr tho. i hate when ppl say that too. it looks kinda cool because you think it's a supra, but then you get closer and see the front or back(dependeing on what part they converted), and you're like "oh s h i t! thats cool!" lol. it's happened to me before. ive got curren tails. my conversion wasnt that expensive wink.gif haha. unique is cool but in my opinion, i think the pic of that white car is ugly. i dont like it.

yeah for real, people don't do conversions becasue they want the car they are getting parts off of, a stock supra is not going to get any points at a show, but nice conversion of supra tails or headlights on a celica is going to get alot of points. the ones int the pic might not get a whole lot but hey he tried, which is more than i can say for like over 70% of the people on this site. and no offense was intened by that comment so don't be a dick and act like it was.

i think his conversion was a little sloppy looking because

when he cut his hatch he missed his template and the curve was just slightly higher then he anticipated...novice mistake
other wise i think he did it just right....

placement is in the correct place if you base it from 0re0

he didn't sit them too low, he didn't use a celica rear bumper, he didn't angle

he just has 1 mistake

edit: i don't think is hatch was closed all the way either

A decent supra will run u 40,000 mainly cuz of the demand for them..

I would never buy a supra at 15 - 20k...itd be a POS!

I think if u do the conversions in good taste then go for it!

Thats not true. You can find decent Supra's for around $20,000. A lot them sell around $25,000. Some I've seen has gone as low as $15,000. Sure, a lot of those might be automatics, but still. If you ask me, there aren't a lot of Supra's out there that are a POS.

well we must live in different spots. but thats what nice TT stick supras do run!

I searched for Supras 75 miles away from me with no price range and found only 1 under 30,000 dollars

The most expensive was near 70,000 dollars
