I changed the battery in my car. It was so hard to put the clasp back onto it..Finally I got it on and I didn't raelize that it wasn't sitting all the way down like it should and I slammed my hood on top of the top metal piece that holds down the battery. And now i have 3 bumps on my hood and I'm so upset. Has anyone had these type of issues? How can I fix it? I'm usually anal about my car having dents or bumps...And that one is just annoying me.

Sounds like a good reason to get a new hood! If not try a body shop (probably more than new hood).

Had a similar problem.
I failed inspection because my battery wasn't secured. Had to get a universal clamp system, and the J-bolts were too long, and pushed up through, as you said. Either cut or file or grind them down, unless its actually battery terminals hitting. As far as fixing it, it'd probably be cheap at a body shop, just pop em out. Go get some quotes. -------------------- If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.
