i want to put 225's on my car, but im afraid that they'll rub against my wheel well.

Will they rub and if you have em, how do they feel (cornering).

will they fit on a 17x7.5 wheel?

thanks

depends on wheel width and offset. Give us those numbers and we can help.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

No rubbing assuming a modest drop and sidewall that does not exceed 45. If your sidewall is bigger or the car is slammed, no promises.

let me add, if your 45 then u won't rub at stock height but if u drop u will rub. If u want to drop her too the get a 40 sidewall.

I was running 225 tyres on my last set of wheels - my new ones have 215s and overall they are much better. Car doesn't tramline anymore and is a lot more controlable at higher speeds, especially on poor road surfaces. Much less prone to aquaplaning too in the wet.

225/45/18 with 4 inch drop no rubbing unless you are doing 180 degree turn. even then it rubs only cause my entire plastic is dangling in places.

i bought my rims with staggered tires
in the rear it has 245/40/18 which rub on bumps.. and on front i ahve 225/40/18 with no problems with a 1" drop (eibach prokit)

i also have a drop top though and it only rubs when the top is down
