Those look really good. What kind of rims are those? They almost look exactly like mine except for the color.

No idea what kind of rims they are...they came with the car. It says katana racing in the middle cap thingy though if that's any help. And yes, our rims look strikingly similar..

I think any style wheels painted gold on a black celi is hot. I Love the way the stock gt wheels i have painted on my black car look. There def faded and warn down after a year of driving.. but i still like them a lot.

Very Nice job. any more pics?

No more pics ATM but I'll post more pics ASAP, for all of you considering doing this.

I was thinking about getting new rims, but did this as an alternative. It only cost me a total of $20.00+tax (4.99 per can) and about 3-4 hours to do everything.

So if you like your rims but would probably like it more if they were black, gold, gunmetal or whatever this the perfect solution. The cool thing is that it doesn't look like cheesy DIY spray paint.

A lot of people either think I got new rims or got them powder coated. Like I said, even I'm surprised how good they turned out.

Sure beats about 200 bucks or more per wheel.

i agree w/ the caliper change
green may even work as i believe it's the complimentary color for yellow/orange
and you have a Tein sticker right by there as well

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

A lot of you guys asked what kind of paint I used, so I took a couple pictures. I originally wanted to buy duplicolor since it's designed for use on rims but couldn't find the color I wanted so I just bought these...

I bough 2 cans of each, 1 of each is probably enough, but once the can reaches about 30%, it starts losing pressure and it gets kind of annoying that's when you'd probably want a fresh can.
