wtf? Save yourself the trouble and sell the 3rd gen 3S-GE ECU and look for the 2nd gen 3S-GE ECU. Last I remember, the 2nd gen 3S-GE ECU has 3 ECU plugs while the 3rd gen 3S-GE ECU has 4 ECU plugs. You're not going to find wiring diagrams for both of those engines over here.

Isn't the third gen. 3S-GE the BEAMS 3S-GE with VVT-i? If so, the ECU won't work with a second gen. engine. But regardless, you shuold get a hold of Outsider. He's swapping the BEAMS 3S-GE into his car.

No.

3rd gen 3S-GE = 180PS with ACIS
4th gen BEAMS 3S-GE (Celica/MR2) = 200PS with VVT-i

Alright, thanks for clearing that up. Is the BEAMS 3S-GE found in the Altezza considered a fourth generation 3S-GE as well?

I have the 3rd gen 3S-GE wiring diagrams (in english) and they appear to be correct so far. I can email them out later tonight for you - just send me your address.

The MR2 3SGE diagrams are available on Richard Doig's Site but they are written in Kanji with English sub-title's written in.

I tried using those wiring diagrams in that link and it did not help me whatsoever.
