After one hard Stop ...are really hard stop... (thank to xravenx) .. about 30 seconds after that my brake pedal was pressed all the way down to the ground will almost no stopping power.... which leads me to belive either my rotors and pads are worse then i thought or the celic stock brakes suck for autocross....

Or maybe when your brake fluid cooled off enough -- brake fluid boils, you lose all braking ability.

You might have a leak in your brake lines. Did you check that? In my 91 GTI I had a leaky brake line, making it look okay, but every time you slam the brakes the pedal would go to the floor.

the same thing happened to me the other day, i was driving like a maniac @ 170km/h and jumped on the brakes to turn on a street, to my surprise, i stuck the pedal to the floor and couldn't activate ABS (nor lock the wheels). My celi just braked slower than usual and i missed the street. Is this what happenes when brakes overheat or is something wrong with my celi? My rotors and pads are new from last june.

good thing my brakes squeeked alot before but now it's nice and quiet.
