225/40ZR18 Goodyear Eagle F1s.

The last set lasted 1500 miles. About a thousand bucks.

Bugger.

Blitz Spec NUR Exhaust, somewhere over $1000
Needing another one 18000 miles later, bloody annoying.

Those are bad choices for the poll. I have directional all season tires and the poll choices imply that only summer tires are directional.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

I have Goodyear Eagle RS-A. People say they aren't good, but at 8 inches wide, you can't go wrong. I am probably going to buy some Goodyear g- force tires soon...

kumhos are ok qaulity, great cheap sticky tire for drifting(considering ur gonna tear em up quick any ways). My friend whos got a full drift hatchi runs on new kumhos on mk2 supra rims in the rear when drifting and runs on falkens when just driving on a set of 15 inch Volk TE37s. but yea, kumhos wear out quick. well..drifting at least..

Oh oops yeah R15. I believe there's a difference between Powergys and other Pirelli P6000s. I can't seem to find many reviews (a few are here: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...6000%20Powergy) on that specific tyre, and seeing as they're the only tyres I've had on my Celi, I can't really comment on how they perform. But I feel that they are certainly adequate for the driving that I do.

Falken tyres. 225/35/18. a good compromise between grip and longevity. if not a touch expensive at almost $1000 a set. Have nearly worn them through on the backroads of sunny Scotland last month frown.gif so will be after a new set soon, probably Yoko`s or Toyo`s will see how good the bank balance is at the time.

Kuhmo Ecsta 205 40R-17, i've used Supras before but they wear to quick for me, and if anyone saw my little clip Ecstas work just fine for handling, 100 mph around a 45 mph bend.

Kuhmo 711 is what we used.....if it was a tiny bit cold out the tires wouldn't stick and would slide very easily....crappy in wet
just never gave good traction and just poor performance....

Eagle F1 GSD3. They rock. Really helped out in my autocrossing. But like the gt4 owner said, they're expensive. You get what you pay for with tires tho.

GT4 - Bridgestone GIII, 225/45/17
St - Bridgestone RE040, 225/40/18

Had a set of Toyo proxes T1-S on the St, they lasted about 12000 miles. The Bridgestone have loads more grip on corners compared to the Toyo, however they did cost me £560 for a set.

215/45/17 Continental ExtremeContact tires from tirerack.com

all season ultra performance 400 treads

shipping/taxes/duty/customs killed me alot though...Ive ended up paying around 191$US each (227 CND) frown.gif

I didnt calculated those fees correctly...but anyway the shop around here sells them a lil bit lower

but those tires are AWESOME!...it's the 2nd summer that im driving them and they arent at 1/2 tread yet

Just ditched the Faulkens (wore them out on some Scotish B-Roads) for some Kumho 711`s, not bad tyres at all, judging by some of the comments on here they work better with 4wd than they do with 2wd as they have taken all I have thrown at them so far.

With my 17"s I chose to go for the 215-40 size. With this in mind, I originally had Yokohama Paradas and they were great, really great for handling but the tread life was terrible. I autocrossed in them and they worked great, but I didn't even get a year out of them.

If you don't race all that much and want a good all around wet/dry tire, get some Yokohama Avid H4s. I'm on my second set now and still love them. If you rotate them regularly, you'll get great life out of them and pretty decent traction when needed. I'll use these until I switch to a different size wheel when my car is finally not a daily driver.

falken ziex ze512 205/50/16, love them and they only cost me 69 dollars a piece. not bad for a tire that won consumer digest best buy. when i need a new set im going to go with either 225/45, 225/50 or maybe 205/45 but i think id like a wider section width

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

Yokohama AVS ES100 225/45/16. Going tomorrow to have two new ones mounted. Good tires, imo.
