has anyone changed their own wheel bearings? If you have how hard is it and can you tell me how to do it? Would it just be cheaper to buy a new hub?

if you've been driving with a broken wheel bearing for some time, i'd suggest you get a new hub as well. it should be about $100 but not too sure. using a new wheel bearing on a damaged hub may cause your bearing to break again. just my opinion. if you truly want your car to last (don't we all?), i'd say buy a new hub too.

no just replace the hub with the worn out wheel bearing.
btw, you're not changing all four wheel bearings are you?

oh, and $20 for a wheel bearing is a wicked price. i changed my wheel bearing on the driver side on my 5th gen and it cost me about $58 CDN (around $48 USD).
