hey all, most of you already know this, but i got into a minor fender bender about a month ago, screwed up my drivers side headlights, bumper cover and fender, and crunched up the frame bracket.
SO i said screw it, good excuse to get PROJECTORS!! hehehe wink.gif
since its gonna be a few weeks till i get the frame bracket in from japan, i had it all
fixed without the fogs, and ill just replace the frame bracket and reinstall the fogs when the bracket gets here.
while i was waiting on parts, i decided to repaint the interior trim again, this time saphire blue metallic.
also painted my calipers blue,
and dustin hooked me up with some leds for the gauge cluster.
smile.gif
just waiting on the "doggy custom works" clear turns!

projectors look so hot Manny! I can't wait to get mine done. As for the trim, I suggest gloss black. Will look nicely modified but a little more understated....

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

i really like the lights. looks superdeduper. on a somewhat related note, does anyone know how to depaint trim pieces? im not too fond of the painted trim pieces in my car, and i don't want to dip it in some paint thinner, only to melt the actual pieces. i guess i could paint them black, but id rather not have paint on them.

I envy your car, and remember talking to you as far back when you just got your springs and struts. Sorry, but I'm not diggin the blue interior either. Otherwise, everything else on your car is just damn sweet. I wish I had the talent to do all the performance mods that you have. I would have done a graphite (carbon fiber) interior to match your wing.

Well I still have more to do.
I am taking out the silver and taking that back to black.
New screen going into the glove box.
Changing the leds on the air con controls to be blue and not green.
Oh and boost controller going in next to the turbo timer.
Nearly forgot blue neons under the seats and dash to make it all look good in the dark too smile.gif

Basically it is clean up the plastic.
Good few coats of grey plastic primer. quick rub down then a few coats. of the metallic paint.
Then about 4 coats of clear lacquer.
