Ok, so I dropped my car 2 inches lower and it still seems to have a little gap in between the tires and da car frame. Is there any of you who have dropped your car so low that it's scrapped the streets clean of debris when you go over bumps, and ect? Is there any difference between a super low car and a stock setting
car? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

That's not fair Kristin lol. You can raise it back up!
![]() Maybe you're dropped too much, or the roads in your area are really crappy, When I get my springs, I'm only doing like 1.5 -------------------- |

im sittin on s-techs and they are pretty reasonable, some speed bumpers are killer, but they arent bad. I probably bottom out once every 2 weeks cuz of speed bumps or stupidity. I went to my cottage and its off a road my grandfather built probably like40 years ago. like my dad's grandprix has trouble goin over it at times and i only bottomed on it once.

my car has koni shocks(i dont know what ones), and stock springs, and i have a 404(or 404 lookalike) front lip, and the front lip is 3.5" off the ground. stock wheels, but the tires are 215/45, so i think the profile is maybe a cm lower profile, maybe less, i don't feel like doing the math with percents and all right now.

well they're AIR BAGS not hydros and it sometimes bumpy matters on the road but its a soft bump not a stiff bump i like it its better than the springs i had before |

If you have stock 15's those tires are way to small for you car. I have 17's and have 215/40's and those are even a little smaller than stock. My 14's are 60's, 15's should be at least 55's. Don't be one of those people with the little tiny tires in the gigantic wheel wells. |

I'm at stock ride height and scrape roads and driveways in this town. Whoever designed the roads here made some HORRIBLE intersections. there's paved roads that my roommate's Ford F250 truck can barely drive on. Huge potholes, lots of dips in the neighborhoods it's rediculous. I'm going to get some Tein S-techs soon but i'm going to wait until I move out of this town to get my OEM extensions and sideskirts because on these roads they'll just get demolished.

ya, i know. i really wanna swap the tires on it. i just bought the car, and thats the way they came. the roads here are pretty bad, so if i don't change them soon, i definitely would not be surprised if i cracked a rim. ill either get the suggested tire size according to the sticker on the door sill, or get a new set of wheels, and use these rims with big tires for winter. i just don't know how big of wheel size i should go? i really don't want big rims, so i think ill be going 16 max with 205-215/50-55.
