How is this for a stupid newbie question!
Where is the fuel filter located on a 95 celica with the four cylinder. My wife's car is idling fun but as soon as the accelerator is pushed it bogs down and trys to die. This is while out of gear. It sounds like a fuel delivery problem to me but I do not know much about these cars. I am going to change the fuel filter and put some injector cleaner in and hope for the best. Any other ideas what it could be. Thanks |

i suggest you check for fouled plugs first. any moisture, buildup on the ends of them. this is usually a good place to start.

its under the intake, a lil black cylinder looking thing. i've been meaning to replace mine,
If there is no jerking involved i don't think it would have nething to do with plugs or wires. I think u r on the right track seem slike a fuel problem |

Right infront of the vacuum, which is bigger. If ur looking at the engine, go to the top right by the strut tower.
Also, check ur spark plugs and distributor. This post has been edited by Supersprynt: May 1, 2003 - 3:59 PM -------------------- |
